ECSI Expands Energy Capabilities with Acquisition of DELL-COMM

EAGAN, MN – August 28, 2026  - ECSI has expanded its limited energy capabilities with the acquisition of DELL-COMM, a specialty contractor serving Minnesota and North Dakota. 

ECSI and DELL-COMM share a long-standing, collaborative working relationship – making this a natural next step for both organizations. DELL-COMM's capabilities in fiber and copper structured cabling, outside plant infrastructure, and security solutions complement and expand ECSI's existing offerings, strengthening the combined team's ability to serve customers with end-to-end limited energy solutions.

Their team of approximately 40 skilled technicians, installers, project managers, estimators, and designers, includes Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD) and BICSI-credentialed professionals – a reflection of the technical standard they've consistently held. With operations in the Twin Cities, Duluth, Bismarck, and Grand Forks, DELL-COMM brings both geographic reach and deep regional expertise to the ECSI family.
